Emmanuel Sikora's Music
Composer/pianist Emmanuel Sikora is a native and current resident of Cortland, New York. He attended Queens College (CUNY) between 2009/12, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Composition from the Aaron Copland School of Music. In the summer of 2012, he went to Berlin for six weeks to study composition with Samuel Adler. That fall, he began his graduate work at Binghamton University, earning a Masters in Music Composition with a Certificate in College Teaching in the summer of 2014. His works have been showcased in live performances and television broadcasts across the country, and he recently recorded his opera "Astra" in Lviv, Ukraine. Noted pianist David Rubenstein performed his music at Smithsonian's American Art Museum and the Richard M. Nixon Library. He is currently the organist at Saint Mary of the Assumption in Binghamton.
